Shailabala Women's College, Cuttack.

There shall be a Debating Society of the Shailabala Women's College.
All students shall be members of the Society.
The .Principal shall be the ex-officio President of the Society.
A member of the staff will be nominated as the Vice-President. (a) Secretary -Any student elected from +3 and P.G, classes. (b) Asst. Secretary - Any student elected from +3 1 st year, +3 2nd year or 5th year P.G.
One representative from each class shall be elected by the students of the respective class.
The Society must aim at conducting debates at least once a month.
Election of office bearers must take place at the beginning of the academic session every year.
The Vice-President shall preside in the debates.
Students and members of the staff are entitled to participate in the debates.
The Principal has the right to make new rules if she thinks it is necessary in the interest of the Society.
The Principal can ask any office bearer to resign on grounds of misconduct, indiscipline and inefficiency. She can nominate another office-bearer in her place till the next election.
